Brandon Van Dalen, known as Strategic, has dedicated nearly 15 years to writing, recording, and performing music as a solo artist, transitioning from a college band. He seeks to expand Strategic beyond a one-man project by blending genres like jazz, reggae, and blues with pop, rock, folk, and punk, focusing on acoustic guitar and meaningful lyrics while using live looping in performances. His recent exploration of new creative avenues includes a re-imagined songs album, a Christmas album, and a kid's album, all of which inform his latest release, "Possibilities." This album emphasizes collaboration, experimentation, and multimedia, challenging the norms of being an indie musician today.
