Dry Rubbed Baby Back Ribs

Everyone loves baby back ribs and their deliciously seasoned meat that falls off the bone . This recipe opts for an intense dry rub over a goopey, sugary sauce.

Directions

  • Combine all dry rub ingredients.
  • (1) Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
  • (2) Place each slab of ribs on a piece of aluminum foil, and rub a generous amount of the dry rub into the meat.
  • (3) Cover each slab with the aluminum, and refrigerate for a minimum of 1 hour.
  • (4) Combine all ingredients of the braising liquid, and microwave for 1 minute.
  • (5) Pour half of the braising liquid over each of the slabs, and wrap tightly in existing foil.
  • (6) Place the ribs on a baking sheet and cook in the oven for 2 1/2 hours.
  • (7) Pour the braising liquid into a medium pot and bring the liquid to a simmer. Cook until reduced by half.
  • (8) Brush the glaze onto the ribs and cook on the barbecue (or broiler) until the glaze caramelizes lightly.
  • (9) Brush with glaze again before serving.
